The Conception Vessel In Animals

The conception vessel is an unpaired additional meridian that does not directly connect to visceral organs.

It runs along the ventral midline of the abdomen, starting with an acupuncture point between anus and vulva or anus and root of the penis all the way along the abdomen, chest, neck, and head and ends in a point right in the centre of the lower lip.

In the horse, there are 12 acu points located on this meridian, in small animals 10.
