Purchase the spooky outfit already a few weeks before the party, so your cat or dog will get used to the unusual clothes and hats.
Fabrics should not irritate the skin and make them itchy.
Make sure there is plenty of space left free in the area around the bottom and lower abdomen (in male dogs), so it will not bother them when they need to do the toilet.
Remove all parts and strings that are hanging off the costume and prevent your pet from chewing, swallowing, choking or catching fire from a candle.
Avoid feeding chocolate to your dog or cat!
